Happy Spring! The sap's started running!
The trees are awake and we're collecting sap.
Tapping takes around 45 hours. Scott's still working on it.
Tonight the sap's a small steady run and only 2 degrees here up in the hills of Earltown.
The forecast is calling for 7 by morning and the sap is sweet and clear.
If the weather does what they say it will do this weekend, we might be making syrup!
