Sugar Moon Farm is an award-winning and well-established destination in Earltown that has been labelled a “must-see” experience in Nova Scotia. Open year-round, we offer an all-day brunch menu, daytime group menus and after-hours upscale group dining experiences in our intimate, open-concept log restaurant as well as customized group learning experiences and outdoor recreation opportunities. 

We’re heading into a busy year, starting with the upcoming Sugar Season in February-March-April when we require a large team of awesome staff to provide an authentic sugar camp experience to thousands of spring visitors. 

We have several positions open immediately; some of these are seasonal, and others can certainly lead to long-term employment: 

• cook
• dishwasher/prep cook
• busser
• server
• indoor and outdoor host

Experience in hospitality is an asset but not necessary; we want enthusiastic hard-working candidates who love customer service and who will work well with our team.

We have both part time and full time positions available beginning immediately, all daytime hours, with evening hours possible when hosting exclusive events. We offer a competitive wage plus equal share gratuities. A Health Benefits plan is available for long-term employees.

You must be available weekends. Availability over NS March Break and Easter Weekend is an asset. Students are welcome to apply.

The right sugar season candidates must... 

• have a friendly personality and strong desire to meet and get to know people 
  
• show enthusiasm and energy to go above and beyond for guests
  
• be willing to work within a proven model with the Sugar Moon team 
  
• have reliable transportation 
  
• be in good physical condition: able to lift 40 pounds and to be on your feet for 8-10 hours
